Amanda and Andrew’s elegant wedding was one for the books and the H&L team loved every single minute of working with them on their perfect wedding day. From start to finish, this power couple was a breeze to work with. They had opinions and ideas that they wanted to incorporate on their special day, but as they so often said “we trust the professionals” and working through their vendor team and wedding tasks was seamless.

While their wedding may have been considered more simple than others, the sophistication and elegance the couple, their families, and their day overall exuded was exceptional, and something that will always stand out to the H&L team.

Details

It’s all in the details.

The beautiful June day began with getting ready for both Amanda and Andrew and their Best People (no wedding party, but a Maid of Honor and Best Man, their siblings respectively), and closest family members.

Ceremony

Both Amanda and Andrew’s ceremony and reception took place at 1840’s Plaza in Baltimore. For the ceremony, guests were seated in an outdoor courtyard in front of a beautiful arch decorated by the Enchanted Florist.

Ready for showtime.
Just Married!

After a short and very sweet ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in another outdoor courtyard, while Amanda and Andrew took wedding portraits, solo, together and with their loving families basking in all the warmth and joy.

Reception

Meanwhile at cocktail hour – you have to admit, this is a pretty awesome backdrop to a cocktail hour.

Especially when the Bride and Groom arrive and continue taking photos because they are having so much fun! We’re sure the cheers and whistles were good motivators. 🙂

Every couple that decides to say “I Do” at 1840’s Plaza gets a brick with their names and wedding date on it!

As cocktail hour ended, guests were invited inside and upstairs to the top floor to the ballroom for dinner and dancing. Can we please talk about this bar?!

The crest and monogram Amanda and Andrew had Alicia at the Welcoming District design was the perfect touch for cocktail napkins, menus, and matchbooks.

As guests entered the dining room, you could hear gasps and sighs of approval.

Cheers and congratulations Amanda and Andrew!
