Honey & Lavender Events specializes in a variety of full event services in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. We also have virtual and destination package options available. Such events include private events like anniversary and birthday dinners, bridal and baby showers, and weddings, and nonprofit and corporate events like galas and conferences and retreats.

We know that planning an event, small or large, informal or formal, can seem overwhelming and exhausting and we are ready to take that burden off your shoulders. We strongly believe that you should be able to truly enjoy the experience you are throwing knowing that all the details, big and small, will be taken care of, from start to finish.

We also offer fundraising management and contracting services to nonprofits. Our founder, Maya, has over ten years of fundraising and development experience in the political and nonprofit sector and is thrilled to offer fundraising services to organizations that need guidance and support with their fundraising efforts.

Maya and her team (particularly Juliet!) were great from day one. She was so good at keeping me on schedule, thinking of the smallest details, and providing great recommendations for vendors.
Three days prior to our wedding reception, there was a 98% chance of rain and thunderstorms. And, three days prior, we were informed by the venue that we could not have a tent for cocktail hour, which had been promised to us during the entire process in the event of rain. Maya handled so much back-and-forth, and long story short, Maya convinced the venue to allow us to bring in an outside tent vendor, which required Maya and her team calling 19 (not a typo!) tent vendors to find a tent available for our reception on such short notice. I was shocked she was able to pull it off, but that’s what Maya does. And in the end, our reception was truly great and more perfect than we could have imagined!
