We had so much fun working with Joan and Jordan on their elegant DC wedding last September. For some reason it felt so quintessentially DC to us. The couple were a joy and so easy to work with – and that is saying a lot given they both live in the San Diego area. They chose to get married where Joan had grown up and where her parents still live!

The day began with pampering and early celebrating with Joan and Jordan’s respective chosen ladies and men.

In a blink of any eye, it was Go Time. The ceremony was at Epiphany Catholic Church in Georgetown, which proved to be such a picturesque backdrop.

A couple hours were spent taking wedding party photos around the Georgetown Waterfront.

Then it was time to celebrate the night away at The Fairmont Hotel. And it was one for the books! Not only was the hotel itself gorgeous, but all the beauty and awe were in the details.

It was our first wedding that provided cigars for guests to enjoy, and we enjoyed seeing this handsome presentation, as did the guests!

Perhaps the best thing about this whole day and what our team will remember most about this wedding was how happy, joyful, and gracious Joan and Jordan were – to everyone.
