We had the pleasure and delight of helping Lindsay and Matt celebrate their big day one beautiful and slightly warm fall day in October. In fact, it was the same day we helped Alex propose to Erika!
Like most couples this year who had been planning on getting married, the ceremony and celebration that happened wasn’t the original vision Lindsay and Matt had as they said their “I Dos”, but they quickly and gracefully pivoted acknowledging that marrying each other’s soulmates was so much more important than a big party.
For the family-only wedding, the day started with the ladies and gents getting ready and spending time together at the Conrad in downtown DC.
Once everyone was ready, it was time to head to the Church of the Holy City to get married!
Can we talk about the surprise Lindsay lined up for Matt?!
The lovely ceremony was officiated by Pastor Dan and had several meaningful biblical readings by family members.
Then it was off to celebratory dinner in Georgetown!
Congratulations Lindsay and Matt! You both and your families were a joy to work with.
