In March, our team at Honey & Lavender Events partnered with DJ Lanie B to host “Spring in Bloom” at Above ALX—a vibrant celebration designed to welcome the new season and spotlight the incredible talent within our local vendor community. The vision was simple: create an inviting, elevated space where guests could shop, connect, and experience a curated mix of products, services, and creative entrepreneurs, all under one roof.

The Space!

From the moment guests arrived, the energy was undeniable. Above ALX provided the perfect backdrop for the event, offering a light-filled, modern setting that complemented the fresh, seasonal aesthetic. We leaned into the spirit of spring with intentional design touches, like bright accents, and an open, flowing layout that encouraged guests to explore each vendor’s space with ease. The result was a welcoming environment that felt both polished and approachable, true to the Honey & Lavender brand.

About the Event – Handcrafted Goods, Food, and Drinks!

Throughout the day, community members had the opportunity to shop a wide range of offerings, from handcrafted goods and specialty foods to wellness services, art, and fashion. It was more than just a market; it was an experience. Guests lingered at each table, engaging directly with vendors, learning the stories behind their brands, and discovering new favorites along the way. With music by DJ Lanie B setting the tone, the atmosphere remained lively, warm, and full of connection.

Our Talented Vendor Partners

Of course, events like this are only possible because of the incredible team behind them. We were proud to collaborate with a talented group of partners who helped bring “Spring in Bloom” to life, including Above ALX as our venue, Lyz Pyvovarova capturing the day through photography, DMV Flowerwalls for a stunning backdrop moment, Tippin Tins for refreshing beverages, and La Dolce Cup serving up delicious coffee.

We were also honored to feature an amazing lineup of vendors who truly made the event special: Calm Connect Well, Alicia Fashion Box, Healing Garden Soaps, Lykha Studios, Soy Cutesy, Doree, The Hatty Wagon, Old Town Flower Gal, The Naughty Nougat, Forever Empanadas, Lavender Ink Studios, Apothecary Spices, Arham’s Art, Ancient Bliss, Sweets by Homade, Rose & Roy Co., Old Town Mysteries, KDB Wheeler, and Cart a Cuterie.

“Spring in Bloom” was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and collaboration. It was a joy to create a space where small businesses could shine and guests could gather, celebrate, and welcome the season ahead. We’re already dreaming up what’s next. 🌸
