Earlier this year we helped plan the DC PartySlate Party at Vera Cocina and it was truly a career highlight for Maya and the team! Maya had been wanting to do this annual DC event with PartySlate since 2021 and when they asked her to do this earlier in the year, she was over the moon. The end result was nothing short of amazing. Everything came together – our vision, hard work, collaboration – and it was quite a production.
We came up with Fiesta Mediterranea theme that featured bold colors and patterns and vibes reminiscent of the party in the Mediterranean. One thing we were passionate about was creating a marketplace that felt like all the cultures of the region so we enlisted a variety of incredible vendors to create a marketplace that was a unique immersive experience for guests. Another highlight was the scent bar were party goers could test out and try unique fragrances.
Guests enjoyed great food, specialty cocktails, and a night of entertainment and dancing! Not to mention, guests came dressed to impressed in the saturated colors and bold patterns.
