DC nonprofit fundraiser planning is a big part of H&L in addition to wedding planning and social event planning. In 2024, we have helped plan several nonprofit fundraisers, including the Holistic Haitian Alliance Raise The Roof Gala and the Seabury Resources for Aging 100th Anniversary Gala.
These events always bring a unique change of pace from other types of events. We love being part of these organizations and helping them reach their fundraising goals for the amazing work they do.
Holistic Haitian Alliance Raise The Roof Gala
We helped Holistic Haitian Alliance to help plan their Raise The Roof gala and fundraiser this year. We love assisting with the fundraising aspect of events and worked with HHA on this part of the event with their silent auction. The silent auction even featured a guitar signed by the one and only Taylor Swift! As you would imagine, it was a huge hit from a fundraising perspective, and for photo ops!
The event had incredibly talented entertainment from Pixie Violin and Queen’s Entertainment. The live auction and silent auctions also kept guests busy throughout the event!

Seabury Resources for Aging 100th Anniversary Gala
For their 100th Anniversary Gala, Seabury Resources for Aging also enlisted us for their DC nonprofit fundraiser planning. It was a wonderful event that raised $180,000 for caregivers and older adults! Seabury set up a Hall of Fame on the mezzanine level, which highlighted their history and achievements. Informational foam boards were sprinkled all around the venue. Guests bid on silent auction items throughout the night and were entertained by a mentalist. We worked with Well Dunn for the catering and their food and service is always impeccable!
