Hannah and Isaac’s Meadowlark Botanical Gardens wedding was a romantic and beautiful day. It was a lovely wedding, filled with love and laughter and the day went very smoothly. The wedding party took photos at the Woodrow Wilson house prior to the ceremony which allowed Hannah & Isaac to spend cocktail hour together and also doing formal portraits. Having most of the photos done prior to the ceremony is a great way to not feel rushed later in the day.

The couple had a meaningful and sentimental ceremony followed by a reception full of fun! For the reception, the couple included lots of personal details. Hannah’s father passed away a few years ago and two of the table numbers were his motorcycle numbers (#133, 557). Hannah made gluten free cookies, especially for her friend Meghan whose grandmother made peanut butter kisses cookies. The table numbers were photos of Hannah and Isaac that related to the guests at each table. Hannah and Isaac incorporated their crest on their cookie favors.

Hannah and Isaac took some gorgeous nighttime photos with Christmas lights – a must for a December wedding! Following that, Hannah had a dress change into something easier to dance in and she absolutely danced the night away with her new husband surrounded by all their loved ones! Cheers to the happy couple!

Thank you to Hannah for these kind words!

After being referred by a friend, we chose Honey & Lavender Events to be our month-of coordinator. I love to plan and enjoyed planning our wedding, but wanted to be able to hand over the logistics of the day over to someone capable so I would be able to let loose and enjoy the day. This was the best decision. Christina was assigned to our wedding and was wonderful! She thought of every detail, made sure our rehearsal and wedding timeline ran so smoothly. Additionally, she went above and beyond helping us find a new location for our first look photos, when my dream location didn’t work out a few days before the wedding. Little did I know, the location Christina was able to secure provided the most beautiful background of portraits I could have ever imagined. Lastly, on the day of the wedding, we were introduced to Jasmine and Emily, they also went above and beyond, even using their own jackets to keep our flower girl warm. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Honey and Lavender Events and highly recommend them for your next event.
