Everyone deserves to be a guest at a party every now and then, event vendors included! We loved celebrating and partying with all of our vendor friends in January at our vendor appreciation event. It was so fun to kick back, relax, eat, and chat with each other. For those who missed it, don’t worry, we’ll definitely be planning another one soon!

It has long been a goal of Maya’s to throw a party in honor of all the amazing vendors H&L has had the pleasure of working with through the years. After all, it truly takes a team effort to produce a beautiful and memorable event!

Our office space at The Loop, served as the perfect event venue for people to mingle, dance, and chat with each other.

Our signature cocktail, The Honey & Lavender, was also a huge hit and the display turned out perfectly! The batch made drink called for Yes Cocktail Co. Lavender & Honey Cocktail Mixer and lots of champagne! We garnished each glass with a wooden honey dipper.

We offered two fun giveaways for each guest to enter a chance to win as they arrived. The first giveaway was for a bottle of champagne, specialty chocolates, and lavender honey. The second giveaway was a free design package for an event of choice, plus each of the candles we sell on our e-commerce site, Champagne Toast and the signature Honey & Lavender candle.

We had a delicious spread from Mia’s Italian Kitchen and Two Board Teachers. For desserts, we had a dessert bar of delicious cookies from Maribeth’s Bakery, adorable and delectable macarons by a vendor, Caroline, we had met through a wedding we worked together in October, and an assortment of candy, in brand colors, of course!

We had custom made cocktail napkins.

Everyone knows you can’t have a party with these two things, besides food and drink, a photo wall and a DJ to set the mood. We had a custom made photo back drop where we invited guests and hosts to take photos, which they happily did.

Thanks to everyone who came out to party with us!

We can’t wait for another vendor appreciation event! In the mean time, be sure to read our last blog on a Aram and Tony’s quaint Tudor Place wedding!
