Airial and Dominque are one of the sweetest couples we ever met. If we had to choose one word to describe them as a couple it would be “caring”. Even though it was their special day one beautiful (and warm!) day in September they went above and beyond in demonstrating how much they cared for their parents, their friends, their guests, and their wedding vendors.

Everyone was treated like family and in turn, everyone had the honor of witnessing this beautiful and kind couple get married at Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery.

Both Airial and her gals (and Dom and his boys for that matter), started the celebrating early with their wedding party in two different hotels near the winery.

In a blink of an eye it was time to round everyone up at the winery for photos and to line up for the ceremony.

How dapper does our groom look here as he waits for his love to walk down the aisle. The fact that he teared up when he saw her walking down the aisle and as they exchanged vows still makes us smile.

Look at that smile! And at that super fun and boisterous wedding party.

The Honey & Lavender team hadn’t been to Potomac Point before the wedding and we loved all the different places photographers and couples could find to capture some pretty great shots.

Perhaps the coolest thing Potomac Point has couples do is stomp grapes together right after their ceremony. Despite planning several other winery weddings (and frequenting them off the clock as well), we had never seen a winery do this in the DMV area, so it was definitely a unique offering.

Then it was time for cake, dancing, and the popular sparkler send-off!

Airial and Dominique – thank you for coming into our lives, for having a beautiful and poignant wedding, and for being you guys.
