We had the pleasure of helping Jennifer and Josh plan and coordinate their perfect wedding in July!

They chose Tudor Place for their ceremony and reception venue as they loved the beautiful gardens and grounds on the property and had visions of their guests sipping on cocktails and snacking on nibbles, as they meandered throughout the property. The picturesque mansion that was originally the home of Thomas Peter and his wife, Martha Parke Custis Peter, a granddaughter of Martha Washington, wasn’t too shabby at all, and provided to be the perfect focal point for wedding portraits!

The Mansion

Once they determined they wanted to get married at Tudor Place, they needed the rest of the dream team, and they received it through a micro wedding package that Honey & Lavender Events had created with some amazing vendors!

Gorgeous flowers from Black Calla Events.

Josh’s adorable daughter Emma (from a previous relationship) was the perfect flower girl.

The best thing about having your wedding in a garden are all the stunning portraits (by Sehar Shafqat Photography) that can be taken. You simply cannot go wrong.

Jennifer and Josh chose to exchange their vows in front of the 200-year-old Tulip Poplar tree on the grassy South Lawn.

Cheers to the happy couple!
