So Maya got to mix a little business with pleasure this month. She visited and toured the Four Seasons in Baltimore – as a guest and as an event planner looking out for her clients!
Her friend Tiffany, who lives in Greenwich, and Maya did a girls weekend in Baltimore, using the Four Seasons as the anchor (and main reason) for their trip. They splurged and got a fabulous room on a Saturday night, they had pre-dinner cocktails at Bygone, made spa appointments, and then did some serious pool-lounging at their amazing infinity pool overlooking the Baltimore inner harbor. No surprise, it was all amazing and exactly what two hardworking mamas of two rambunctious kiddos needed.
Maya then met the fabulous Alex to tour all the event spaces the beautiful hotel had to offer for a few clients in mind. Not surprisingly most of the rooms offered wonderful views of the inner harbor and had open and flexible layouts, conducive to all kinds of events.
Her favorite space to see was the Splash Terrace. It’s right behind the pool, but there is a private entrance to it for an event or ceremony, so event attendees can’t hear any noise from the pool deck and vice versa. In fact, when Tiffany and Maya were at the pool, there was a ceremony happening on the Splash Terrace, and they had no idea. They did see a bride walk by, but figured she was just taking photos – apparently not!
Needless to say, Maya is itching to come back here – whether for some more R&R or a client’s event!
