We had the pleasure of working with quite possibly the sweetest newly wed husband, Hamza, last October. He and his beautiful wife, Fisa, had recently gotten married, and he wanted to do something extra special for her birthday. Fisa’s first birthday they would spend as a happily married couple.
He asked us to create a festive, but tasteful entrance into their home that would lead Fisa to a lovely, show stopping backdrop complete with drapery, flowers, and an array of pastries that would great Fisa upon arrival at their home.
We had such a fun time designing and executing this setup with Hamza. While he was particular with some elements of the design, he chose to trust us on a number of things for a the “wow” factor.
We brought in a wonderful vendor team to bring our vision to life.
Vibrant and gorgeous flowers from Diana at Black Calla Events, an amazing backdrop, ornate chair, and the perfect shades of drapes by Loinelle at Yes Event Decor, and yummy cupcakes, cookies, and cake from Passion Bakery.
Immediately following the big reveal, Fisa and Hamza, would sit down together with family for a dinner to toast the lady of the hour.
We are thrilled that Hamza and Fisa are expecting their first child this fall – and you better believe Honey & Lavender is planning the baby shower!
