I had the pleasure and honor of doing my second styled photo shoot in October with some fabulous vendors! The concept of Friendsgiving has been growing on me for several years – I loved the idea of bringing together friends from all walks of life to gather for food, fun, and laughter + the colors and seasonal foliage of Fall are pretty hard to beat. Thus my idea and inspiration for this photo shoot was born – a Friendsgiving Wedding! I honestly couldn’t have pictured the shoot to be as amazing and beautiful as it was thanks to an amazing vendor team, especially my partner-in-crime, Sehar Shafqat of Sehar Shafqat Photography, who was instrumental in helping me complete this shoot.

Here is the inspiration board Sehar and I worked off of when coordinating and executing this shoot. While she and I had a general agreement of what we envisioned this shoot to look like in terms of colors and props, we had different color combinations in mind. She wanted more lighter pink and white hues and I originally wanted bold oranges and golds. I think we found a happy medium if I do say so myself!

The stunning invitation and menu suite was done by Simply Jessica Marie and Jen Simpson Design.

I loved working with Diana from Black Calla Events so much for my first Bali Wedding Themed shoot, I asked her to be a part of this one, and I was so glad she agreed!

The stunning bouquet.

For this shoot we upped the ante and got a caterer to showcase some of his delectable food – Thanksgiving themed of course!

DC Rental provided the lovely linens and tableware for the shoot.

Our shoot fully came together with our lovely models, our bride and groom, Emma and Jame Frank.

Tudor Place in DC was the perfect venue for and so accommodating! A secluded spot among their lush gardens was the perfect place to set up our dining room table and dessert table, and then Sehar, our bride and groom, and I wandered around the property taking more photos against the historic buildings on the property.
