Last month I, along with three other co-hosts, had the pleasure of hosting our friend Allison’s baby shower at her home in Bowie, Maryland. While Allison is a wonderful step mom to her husband George’s two teen-agers, she and George are expecting their first baby together, a daughter, next month!

The glowing parents-to-be.

Settling on the theme of Allison’s shower was a no-brainer since she works at a company called Llamasoft and she loves llamas. We knew a Llama/Fiesta Baby Shower was the way to go. We all had a lot of fun with this theme as you will see in the photos below!

Cute banner from Etsy.
This one too.
I found these beautiful paper fans on Amazon.

Since Allison and George’s home is quite big, when I was determining the best approach for impactful decor, I had decided early on that I wanted Modern Foliage to provide some beautiful and lush plants that would really fill out some spaces in the home.

Of course we chose a few beautiful flower arrangements and faux succulents to sprinkle around too!

Aren’t these little llama figurines from Target adorable?!

In keeping with the “llama/fiesta” vibe of the shower we had Uncle Julio’s cater the shower and that was a HUGE hit. Queso – need we say more?!

And then there was cake!

Always a hit, guests had a blast decorating onesies for Baby Girl Fowler.

We had so much fun celebrating ya’ll, Allison and George. We can’t wait to meet your sweet baby girl.
