Happy September lovelies!
I am currently spending most of my time cuddling my second child, Luke, who we welcomed in August. Big Sister Ava is adoring her new role and is absolutely smitten with her baby brother.
I thought it would be fun to share some photos of the sweet Nautical/Maine-themed baby shower my friends threw for Luke in early-July at my house. I settled on this theme for Luke’s nursery and his baby shower given his daddy’s Maine roots.
I truly felt like my “hostesses with the mostesses” went above and beyond for this shower. The food – all of it homemade – was delicious and beautiful. The decorations were impressive and the games and activities fun and lively.

My friend Tammy made small Whoopie Pies for the favors.
Folks showed off their artistic skills by decorating different-sized onesies for Luke. They also strutted their knowledge of nursery rhyme words, guessed “which baby picture was who” during the shower, and left sweet notes of advice for me in a bottle. (“Messages in a Bottle”).
