Happy Saturday to you! It’s definitely a hot one here in the D.C. area and one way I’m trying to keep “cool” is thinking ahead to Fall – namely an October wedding that we are currently gearing up for in D.C. 🙂

For this month’s blog post, I thought it would be fun to share some inspiration photos for this upcoming wedding that will surely be unconventional, vibrant, and innovative. (I honestly can’t wait to see the photos from this evening).

For starters, the ceremony and reception will be at a dance studio that is actually quite large in space, but is a bit compartmentalized in that there are several rooms of different sizes and shapes we will be utilizing. The space itself is a blank and industrious canvas if you will. Without further ado, here are some photos!

The space where the ceremony and reception portion of the wedding will be.

A hoop that will serve as an arch for the ceremony focal point.

Fit for a Fall wedding, the bride’s color choices are a combination of oranges, fuchsia pink, and yellow. Her flower choices will also be unique and eclectic – think orchids and pin cushions.

The bride and groom want to transform a room at the studio into a lounge area where people can sit, relax, and drink.

The lounge will have a “Bohemian” feel to it – a unique carpet, a couple couches, some floor pillows.

The Hasil: Jewel Turkish Rug

The Rumi: Marigold Tufted Sofa

Needless to say, we can’t wait for this wedding – stay tuned for more photos, beauty and dazzle!
