They always say your “first” anything is truly special and memorable. Well, our first official wedding at Honey & Lavender Events for Anh and Hiep, a beautiful couple – inside and out, couldn’t be more true. When Anh and I first met to talk about the vision for her wedding, while she didn’t have an exact idea of the venue she wanted, she knew she wanted her wedding to be DIY-inspired, beautiful, but not too formal, and somewhere in the D.C. area. I’m thrilled to share some photos of the stunning wedding that came together in Virginia Wine Country, in Purcellville to be exact, at Kalero Vineyard – a lovely 130 acre farm and vineyard. Kalero has breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and houses a historic barn, fondly nicknamed Heartstone Barn – in honor of a unique heart-shaped stone discovered on the property by the owners daughters.It was a joyful and amazing experience working with both Anh and Hiep to create their perfect wedding.
