Anna and Andy's Wedding - Honey and Lavender Events

Anna and Andy’s wedding was a beautiful day full of love. They are the couple you just want to root for – in love with each other and excited for a new chapter of life as husband and wife, and gracious and kind in everything they do. Wedding planning with them was such a pleasure and seeing their vision for their wedding day become a reality was a treat to see for such a deserving couple.

Ceremony

Their wedding ceremony was at the beautiful St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Anna honored her mother who had passed away by having a photo of her on her wedding day, fastened securely to her wedding bouquet.

As a surprise for Anna, Andy had their wedding date embroidered on his tux.

Portraits

Immediately following the ceremony, Anna and Andy wanted to take a few photos of Sacred Heart, where her parents had gotten married years ago.

To say the stopped traffic is an understatement! So many cheers and honks for the stunning couple, who of course took it in stride, if not bashfulness.

Photos continued at Rock Creek Park, a place they frequent a lot together.

Reception

The beautiful venue was set for a perfect fall evening, that began with cocktails in the garden, followed by dinner and dancing in the lower terrace and Bell Vue Room.

Modern Foliage worked with the couple to create understated floral pieces that enhanced Dumbarton’s space and created the elegant, yet informal, ambiance the couple wanted.
