This month we had the honor of planning a wonderful corporate event with Dimension Energy and Community Housing Partners. The CHP Solar Savings Event was a kickoff event for shared solar coming to Virginia.
Residents of Community Housing Partners’ 3,300-plus apartments and townhouses that are served by Dominion Energy soon will get the opportunity to buy their electricity from a solar developer and we helped plan a kickoff event to celebrate this first project of its kind in Virginia. The event was also an opportunity for residents to sign up for the solar credits.

The H&L team helped plan the event from the fun fall décor to securing vendors to make the event a success! Extraordinary Entertainment did an awesome job with the audio/visual to make this event a success. The event had programming with elected officials and individuals from Dimension and CHP so it was imperative the program went smoothly and it did!
Apple Spice Boxed Lunch and Catering provided great boxed lunches which guests and residents thoroughly enjoyed. There were also delicious cupcakes from Confections Cupcakery that were a huge hit! The décor was a fun fall theme to match the November weather. We had pumpkins, scarecrows, hay bales, and fun balloon displays from Moore’s Balloon Decor. H&L also put together gift baskets for a raffle which everyone loved! The event was a huge success with many residents signing up for solar credits. We’re excited to see what is to come with this project throughout Virginia and hopefully another CHP Solar Savings Event!
