What’s the difference between you and a venue coordinator?

A venue coordinator is strictly concerned with everything having to do with the venue. This may include facility use and access getting into the property. A venue coordinator looks out for the venue’s best interest. On the other hand, a wedding and event coordinator is there to bring your vision to life by thinking of all the details that are specific to you and your partner and wedding and advocating on your behalf.

Why Hire Me? Or Am I the Right Wedding Planner for You?

Our owner Maya has never met a stranger, ever. While we can absolutely talk about the years of experience our team has in the event planning world, what we have been told sets us apart from the rest is our heart and devotion to trying our hardest to make our clients feel special and well taken care of. We have also been told that our Type A characteristics are from another world and we legitimately Get.It.Done 😉

How are payments made for events?

For weddings, we space the total price of the wedding package over four installments. At contract signing, 25% of the total package is due. The remaining three are spread out evenly up to a month priorr to the wedding.

For private events, we space the total price of the package over two installments. At contract signing, 50% is due and the remaining balance is due a month prior to the event. (For events that have a shorter planning schedule, this is factored in and adjusted).

For nonprofit and corporate events, this is determined on a case by case basis.

Any final words of wisdom?

No matter what type of event you are planning or what stage of planning you are in, take a minute to enjoy it and celebrate it. And pat yourself on the back, because if you have made it this far down the page, you have made the best planning decision you will make – seeking out a professional’s help so you and your loved ones can celebrate and focus on the important things.
